Joe Allen: I a€™m really enjoying playing in the no.10 role

Joe Allen has jokingly claimed he's on a goal drought after going two games without a goal for Stoke City. Furthermore, the midfielder claimed that he's "really enjoying" playing in the no.10 role too.
The Stoke City midfielder assisted both of Wilfried Bony's goals tonight as the Potters won 3-1 on Monday evening, having netted four goals for the Potters since signing from Liverpool in the summer.
However, although the 26-year-old hasn't scored in his last two games, Allen says he's enjoying playing in his new no. 10 role.
"We managed to get three goals but hit the woodwork three times as well, you can't ask much more than that in the Premier League," Allen told Sky Sports after the 3-1 win.
"The fixture list didn't help us at the start of the season, we were shipping goals and we have tightened up. We had the confidence that it would turn around.
"It's a goal drought for me, two games without a goal! I've never had a run of games in that position before [number 10] so I am still getting used to it but I am really enjoying it. So long as I can chip in with some goals and create chances, I might stay there."
The Wales international netted two goals for the Reds in 19 appearances last season under Jurgen Klopp, registering just one assist.
Allen joined the Reds in 2012 after starting his senior career at the Swans in 2007 after progressing from their youth set-up.
Mark Hughes' side are now unbeaten in five games, with three consecutive wins, leaving them 12th in the Premier League ahead of their fixture against West Ham away on Saturday.
